As Above, So Below
Criticality is a neuroscience theory exploring the state between chaos and organization that our brains live in. This project was created in collaboration with Lyanne Zhang, an IMS MSc candidate at the University of Toronto to be printed and presented at the first ever MedComic Conference poster session.
It explores 4 examples of criticality observable in our world and ties them back to the neurobiology basis Lyanne is interested in. We chose to approach the topic using a broader and more poetic lens in order to draw an audience in and intrigue them into learning about physics & neuroscience.
