Nova Scotia Species at Risk Brochure
This project was commissioned by Unama’ki Institute of Natural Resources to act as an informational brochure and poster that highlights # of species at risk found in Nova Scotia. The brochure was divided into 3 habitats: wetland, riperan and forest highlighting their respective species. 6 species profiles were also created to be placed on the reverse and provide extra details on those select species.

Initial Sketch
I was given a list of species to include and the description of 3 different habitats, which led me to do in depth research surrounding the different animals, their characteristics and environment. I created a sketch of a continuous habitat that has three distinct ecosystems populated with the highlighted species. This sketch was sent off for final approval by the client.
Spotlight Species
There were 6 species that they wanted to highlight further and provide more detail about on the front of the brochure. I made 6 spotlight illustrations that could be used and are identifiable on both sides of the brochure as the same species.
